French Verb Conjugator Pro App Reviews

Great app. However the main mistake a friend found is the app labeled the Present Perfect as Passé Composé. Just something to watch out for especially when in a class. Love the audio. The audio is helpful with pronunciation and tenses and can be slowed from 100% to 75%,50% and 25% so to hear each pronunciation of the syllables. There are also other Free and Pro languages for download. English, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Overall, I am satisfied with this app.

An easy to use conjugation aid allowing lookups by either the english or french word.

I would otherwise give it 5 stars. I’m on iOS. After a search, the result page is shown. I get stuck on the results page. It doesn’t show any conjugation nor is there a back button to allow me to go back. I have to remove the app. It wasn’t like this before.

I find this app very useful in learning french. I have used and tested various apps to learn French - including Memrise, Duolingo, Drops, Rosetta Stone and Busuu - they are all good to help learn French - however if you are really serious about learning any French - you are going to need to know how to conjugate verbs - this is a perfect app to help you learn French verbs - it Gives you all the tenses and what I really like is it also tells you how to pronounce them. I took French in HS - before the Internet was in common use - and I sure wish I had this app to help me memorize my verbs and especially with the help with pronouncing - Another point - all other I apps I’ve used to help learn French don’t give you go over every - even basic conjunctions of a verb - so this helps fill in the blanks those apps miss - so it is defiantly must have for learning French

My go-to test to see if there are enough verbs is the verb expulser. Nope. Not good enough. Not sure the pro is really worth it. All I can use is the audio, but I don’t really need that. I found two free apps that include my test verb. Disappointed.

Love the simplicity of the app but would love it if there were some study tools incorporated in it to better practice and learn the conjugations. I would also love it if I could bookmark the verbs I’m working on to refer back to them instead of always having to type them in. It’s a great app to help you focus on the verbs and conduct some quick studying. Really like it for the price!

Will not play any of the word recordings

It would be nice to be able to make a “favorites” collection.

The product is great but for one thing. The Android version kept a list of the verbs that I studied without me asking for it. It was great for an easy return to the x verbs In which I am interested. The iOS version does not. Bad omission. Please fixit soon.

As a linguist, I enjoy Ian Tipton’s apps more than others. I have app for French, Italian, and Portuguese. I wrote to Ian, expressing my dissapointment w new update: 1) Voices used to be the best human voices of native speakers, with wonderful intonation; now voices seem synthetic. 2) Internet wasn’t required before to use app; now it is. The apps are still the better ones in the market, but were much better before. I hope you go back, Ian Tipton. Thanks.

I got the free version only to find it had no audio pronunciations. Of course, they offer the ad-free version “with audio!” so I just went ahead and sprung for the $0.99 figuring it was like the Italian conjugator of theirs that I have which provides pronunciation of every single word/tense. You can imagine my disappointment to find just a smattering—I counted only 48, they claim 50—of the words pronounced. Pretty useless if you’re a neophyte when it comes to the French language such as I. If you have a working knowledge of French I’m sure it’s fine otherwise.

Says it has the audio but I can’t figure out how to get it.

I absolutely love this app and all the other verb reference apps by this creator. The only thing I would say could be better is this: The verb should have a pronunciation. After this I could definitely give 5 stars.

Very disappointed. I thought each and every verb had a spoken pronunciation; sadly only 10% of the verbs in the collection have a spoken voice. This is a bit misleading.

This app only has a few verbs and could not search with one part of verb, you should write the word exactly, don't buy it

Like the rest of his language programs, accurate, intuitive and flawless.

No PC. I bought the upgrade to hear the verbs but when I try to play them it still asks me to buy the upgrade. I have to open the App Store and open the app there if I want to hear the verbs. Also if I could even hear them I would like to hear them all please.

Pick this thing up for .99$ It has several hundred verbs, a pretty, French icon, and is cleanly presented. Worth five times it's cost on the AppStore, go for it.

This is a godsend. I love being able to listen to the pronunciation of the different tenses. this program is definitely worth it.

The auditory feature is also handy.

This is a great app! It's one of the better ones I found. Only thing I wish is that more verbs had audio.

It helps a lot while trying to learn French. I use it everyday when writing and speaking with my French friends.

wouldn't it be even better if you were able to search vice versa as well? With a conjugated form for the infinitive for example. Would be very helpful if you could add this function!

Very useful as an adjunct when learning French. Quick and easy to pull up a verb when you forgot how to conjugate it. Hopefully more audible pronunciations will continue to be added.

This app is really a great resource for someone learning french. Very easy to use and quick to navigate. My only criticism, I would ask that move verbs would be added in the vocal pronunciation. Thanks for a great product.

This app has been great while I'm in French training for my job. Very easy to use and intuitive. On occasion, it will not have a verb in its database, but these instances have been few and far between. Looking forward to how they might make an already very useful app even better...

Great! Very responsive to my difficulty in getting audio to work. Now it does. Don't have iPhone on silent.

I gave it four stars because there is always room for improvement but is is really solid app. Time to dump the old verb conjugator book.

Fantastic app…endlessly useful in learning French verb conjugations…and likely will continue to be useful when Fluent (who can remember all the right tenses for ANY verbs, eh?). Keep up the great work. One request: Improve the search for English versions of the verb. Sometimes we're not thinking in the infinitive and may search for "can", for example, rather than "be able".

I am a good app customer. this is the first time i purchased a product thats not featured as described--There is no audio feature as stated in its description!!!!
